Why Thank God at Thanksgiving?

Hmm. That's an interesting question:
Why thank God at Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is coming up and you're probably going to hear lots of people in church saying "Thank the Lord this Thanksgiving!" But why? Why thank Him?

We'll first off, you need to thank God everyday! But that's pretty obvious, right? :)

I bring up this question because I have a very strong answer for you: We should thank God at Thanksgiving because of his mercy!
Here's why:

Thanksgiving marks the start of a trio of holidays: Thanksgiving, then Christmas, then New Years. Lots of celebrating is going on. To see another new year is an obvious blessing, but the sad truth is that within all this celebration, people are going to forget about God. They are going to forget the one who gives us the freedom to experience joy.

The even sadder point is that lots of people involved in churches will forget about God. Imagine that!

I own the hotel in Providence City (as seen in Forgiveness: The First Chapter). I will be giving Christmas bonuses to all our workers this year, just like every year. It's because I appreciate all the work they did that year! And every year, all of staff comes and gets me a special gift. It's always a suprise! I never seem to guess what they are going to give! It's cool, too, because at the end of the year we have a Christmas party and exchange gifts as well! It's a great time!

But what if one of the workers takes the check, then doesn't say thank you. That would make me very sad. I'd be mad, too!

I'm sure when people forget to thank God for the blessings he's given them it makes Him sad. But here's the thing that AMAZING: Even when we forget to say thanks to God and honor him, He continues to bless us!

Even with all the bad things in the world, God continues to make the sun shine, make the rain fall, keeps the earth rotating. God continues to bless us! Don't believe me? check out Matthew Chapter 5 Verses 43-48 in the Bible. It says that God continues to give to us as people, no matter if we are following Him or not.

That is a perfect reason to thank God at Thanksgiving! He continues to be merciful to us, even when we do wrong!

So here it is: So why not acknowledge Him right now? Thank Him for the blessings! Acknowledge that you are a bad person and do bad things, and then accept what Jesus did on the cross when He died for your sins!

Then go on and check out the Bible to learn new things about God and life!

Have an amazing Thanksgiving everyone! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to prepare my special pumpkin pie! See ya later!

It's Autumn 2010!

Hello everyone! It's autumn 2010! That means for most cooler weather and leaves falling from the trees! Autumn was a great time for me growing up. My sister and I always did our first clean up of the leaves every October! And then came Thanksgiving! Those were some great times!

As we grew up though, my sister and I went our own separate ways. We wanted to meet up and talk more often, but it didn't happen. We were both so busy! I hadn't seen my sister for a very long time, but I got to see her again during the events of Forgiveness: The Third Chapter. I was hoping for a great visit, but it didn't start off that way. Play the game and find out what happened!

You have family, right? Tell them how much you appreciate them this season! Not only will that make them happy, but God will be happy, too! This is Clown, signing out! See ya next time!

Clown's Favorite ZJ the Ball Levels - Part 3

My work at Breakthrough Gaming includes being a main character in the Role-Playing Game series Forgiveness. I'm back with part two of my multi-part feature! I'm taking about my favorite levels from the ZJ the Ball Series! Here we go!

The Sky
from ZJ the Ball

This was a big level in the first ZJ the Ball game! After encountering Axel in Level 2, ZJ had to find a way out of the sewers. This is the first time ZJ the Ball gets to fly with his propeller hat! He flies out of the final pipe, and starts flying on his was home, or so he thinks! It's a great level!

You can pick up the ZJ the Ball video game at the Breakthrough Gaming Online Store!

See you next time for another of my favorite levels from the ZJ the Ball Series!

Axel Talks About: Breakthrough Gaming Bounce!

In today's feature, we will be talking about the classic game, Breakthrough Gaming Bounce!

After the release of ZJ the Ball, Zippy the Circle, Forgiveness: The First Chapter, and Nik & Kit, Breakthrough Gaming Bounce! was released in July of 2006. This game featured all the main characters from those first four games. (including me, Axel!)

Paul, from the Forgiveness RPG series, made a machine that created new game levels based on all our past games. In each of these new levels, we needed to bounce both characters and items through themed levels to complete the tasks! Sometimes you had to collect all the coins, defeat all the enemies, or find all the keys. 24 levels are waiting to be played in this game!

You can get more information about Breakthrough Gaming Bounce! at the Official Site, and you can pick up a copy of Breakthrough Gaming Bounce! from the Breakthrough Gaming Online Store! See ya next time!

Summer 2010 is here!

Summer is here!

School is ending and the summer months are just about to begin! You might be deciding to go on a vacation this summer, but you might be hanging around the house, too! Or maybe a little of both?

I wonder what the kids of Ark City do during break? During the events of Forgiveness: The Second Chapter, the Ark City school was closed for summer break when Jimmy and his friends were in the city.

Whatever you do, make sure to try to become a better person this summer!

Maybe you aren't as quick about cleaning your room when your parents ask you to. (I know I sometimes forget to clean my room!) Maybe you have a friend who needs some help. Maybe you need to be the one to give that help? Maybe you want to finally learn to play the piano. You could work on it this summer!

If you are a Christian, you should always want to be better! You won't be perfect at anything, but you can always try to be a better person, right?

In the Bible, at Verse 12 of Chapter 3 in the book of Philippians, it talks about this same thing. We aren't perfect, but we should keep trying to become the person God wants us to be! God gave us special talents that we can use, and the ability to help people. We should keep perfecting those skills!

Let's do it!

My work at Breakthrough Gaming includes being a main character in the Role-Playing Game series Forgiveness. I'm back with part two of my multi-part feature! I'm taking about my favorite levels from the ZJ the Ball Series! Here we go!

Snow Mountain
from ZJ the Ball 2

Ah! I really love snow! I like the coldness of it and I like to play in it too! But on Snow Mountain, it's no laughing matter for ZJ the Ball! He has to travel through freezing ice caves, traverse across snow topped hills, and slide down the ice mountain to find out where his buddy Axel went! Where could he be in all that snow? You can pick up the ZJ the Ball 2 video game at the Breakthrough Gaming Online Store!

See you next time for another of my favorite levels from the ZJ the Ball Series!
